The École Normale de Musique de Paris welcomes Juliette Hurel for a flute masterclass with students from the school’s advanced classes.
First Prize in flute at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, winner of numerous international competitions, nominated in 2003 in the “Instrumental Soloist of the Year” category at the Victoires de la Musique Classique awards, Juliette Hurel is considered one of the leading flautists on the international music scene.
In demand throughout the world, she performs in chamber music and as a soloist with leading French and international orchestras.
Since 1998, Juliette Hurel has been principal flute of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, where she has been teaching since 2010 (at Codarts).
