International competitions are a rare opportunity for young artists to compete with other musicians of their generation and to make themselves known. It is therefore a major vector for professional integration.
Faced with this major challenge, the École normale de musique de Paris has created the conditions necessary for the proper preparation of its students.
- The organisation of the competitions for the school’s higher diplomas reproduces that of international competitions: these are public competitions in the form of recitals at the Salle Cortot, calling on external international juries: a good preparation for the challenges that await its laureates !
- The École normale de musique de Paris and its professors also provide information on the main international competitions to enable students to register and prepare for those that best suit them. Furthermore, information on the opening of applications, deadlines and results are available on the Student Office page. (link to student office).
- For certain international competitions, the school reserves the right to help its students to present their applications: payment of registration fees, production of film recordings, organisation of programme run-ins, etc.
