Admission Requirements:
The advanced program allows artists to deepen their instrumental mastery in a setting suited to high-level musical practice and an exceptional location. Advanced classes are available in the following disciplines: jazz piano, jazz vocals, jazz guitar, jazz double bass, jazz drums, and jazz saxophone.
The Advanced Program is open to applicants who pass an entrance audition and submit a resume.
Each academic year leads to the awarding of a Perfectionnement Certificate, granted upon the favorable recommendation of the academic supervisor, based on attendance and the quality of work assessed through continuous evaluation by the professor. The certificate obtained will then indicate the chosen instrument and the name of the supervising professor.
Re-enrollment is subject to approval by the administration and will only be granted if the student’s work and attendance meet the professor’s standards for this level. To this end, a 30-minute audition may be required by the administration.
Course content :
Each student receives one hour of individual instruction per week, excluding school holidays (for a total of 24 hours per year). Students also have access to theory classes in the jazz department, and group practice sessions (subject to availability).
In addition to jazz programs, students will have access to: :
- Group classes in classical music: music theory, music history, analysis, to enrich their musical culture
- Tai chi classes, a physical therapist, and the Digital Chair program, which are available to all students
- Workshops and masterclasses throughout the year
Fees and Scholarships
The annual cost of the program is €7,900 for the advanced training program, with additional fees:
- €400 registration fee for European students
- €600 registration fee for non-European students
Enhanced option: 15 hours spread throughout the year, subject to the professor’s approval. Cost: €1,820. This option can only be taken in addition to a course of study.
A scholarship system is available upon request and based on a file review. Students must first pre-register online on the school’s website. Once they have obtained their student number, they can complete the online scholarship application form.
Students may also activate other forms of financing depending on their personal situation.
