Anaïs Benoit began studying piano and then flute at the age of eight. After earning a degree in musicology from the Sorbonne, she entered the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) and graduated with highest honors in the class of Pierre-Yves Artaud three years later. A member of the French Youth Orchestra (OFJ) from 2003 to 2004, she was second flute and piccolo player with the Belgian National Orchestra from 2004 to 2006.
In 2006, she was appointed principal piccolo player with the Orchestre de Paris, then conducted by Christoph Eschenbach. She performs regularly as a soloist, promoting the piccolo, and also in chamber music ensembles with numerous artists.
For ten years, Anaïs Benoit taught piccolo at the Boulogne-Billancourt Regional Conservatory and at the Pôle Supérieur Paris-Boulogne. Alongside the Orchestra, she obtained a diploma in sophrology in 2023 and now offers both private consultations and group workshops at the CNSMDP, the OFJ or elsewhere.
