RIVIERRE Laure
Presentation

Admitted at an early age to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSM) in Paris, Laure Rivierre earned several First Prizes by the age of 17.

She then entered the postgraduate chamber music program, studied vocal accompaniment with A. Grappotte, and was appointed accompanist for the viola class of Bruno Pasquier.

A student of Dominique Merlet, she continued her development with Maria Curcio in London, Vera Gornostaeva, Eliane Richepin, and Françoise Bussier in Paris.

Laure has received international awards both as a soloist and chamber musician (notably in Vercelli and Illzach).

She has performed in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and beyond.

As a versatile collaborator with both vocal and instrumental ensembles, she has performed with organist Jean Guillou — who dedicated to her his piano work Augure — as well as with the vocal ensemble La Chapelle Rhénane, the Roger Toulet Choir, the Manfred Quartet, and the Trio des Aulnes. She has recorded for France Musique, Radio Classique, Mezzo TV, the Naxos label, and released a solo album recorded at the Dijon Auditorium.

A dedicated pedagogue, Laure Rivierre holds the highest French teaching qualification (CA) in piano. She divides her time between the École Normale de Musique A. Cortot in Paris, the ESM Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, and the CRR of Dijon, where she teaches piano, chamber music, and accompaniment.
