Call for Applications – PAX MUSICA 2026–2027 Cohort

Call for Applications – PAX MUSICA 2026–2027 Cohort

The association PAX MUSICA has launched its call for applications to select the musicians who will join its 2026–2027 cohort.

PAX MUSICA is an association that supports exiled musicians who have arrived in France in developing their artistic careers. Through a mentorship and networking program, the association works to highlight their journeys, their talents, and the cultural richness they bring to the French music scene.

Each year, the selected musicians benefit from one year of artistic support alongside renowned artists. This program enables them to strengthen their practice, expand their professional network, and regain opportunities to perform after a career path often disrupted by exile.

The program includes in particular:

  • Artistic mentorship with renowned artists
  • Interdisciplinary artistic residencies, notably at La Rocabella, encouraging encounters and collective creation
  • Concert opportunities on prestigious stages such as the Opéra national de Paris, the Institut du monde arabe, and the Palais de la Porte Dorée

This initiative serves as a true professional springboard for musicians whose trajectories have been interrupted by exile, allowing them to continue their careers and share their music with new audiences.

Profile sought

The call for applications is open to professional-level exiled musicians, from all musical backgrounds: classical music, opera/lyric, jazz, and traditional music.

📅 Application deadline: March 31, 2026

Upcoming PAX MUSICA concert

To discover the work of the association and the journeys of its artists, PAX MUSICA is organizing a concert at Studio Bastille on March 13.
Reservation is required and admission is free (pay-what-you-can).

Finally, our institution is a partner of PAX MUSICA: some of its laureates are integrated into the digital chair, and the association may also organize auditions at the ENMP.

We are delighted to support this initiative, which helps sustain musical creation, encourage the careers of artists in exile, and foster encounters between cultures.
