From September 13 to October 12, 2025, the Festival de l’Orangerie de Sceaux returns for its 56ᵗʰ edition in the heart of the Domaine départemental de Sceaux. Under the artistic direction of Jean-François Heisser, this season offers more than a month of concerts, bringing together leading soloists, renowned ensembles, and young talents in an eclectic program spanning three centuries of musical creation.
Once again this year, the École Normale de Musique de Paris is proud to be associated with the Festival through a carte blanche dedicated to its students – a true springboard for high-level young musicians. Selected for their exceptional qualities and guided by internationally renowned professors, these rising artists will have the opportunity to perform in a prestigious setting.
Program for this concert (Saturday, October 11, 8 p.m., Orangerie):
- Trio Parrhésia (Alcide Menetrier, violin – Irène Jolys, cello – Melvil Chapoutot, piano) performing Beethoven’s “Archduke” Trio.
- Akinori Shibata (violin) and Jean-Michel Kim (piano) performing Richard Strauss’s Sonata for Violin and Piano.
- Antonina Stepanova (soprano) and Julian Trevelyan (piano) performing a selection of Mozart’s arias and pieces for voice and piano.
