Singing

The School offers renowned singing classes, which train their students in all the particularities of the singing profession, from voice work according to styles and periods to stage presence.

Each level has its own set of complementary teaching units, either mandatory or optional, depending on the course of study chosen.

Artist Diploma

(3^e Cycle Supérieur)

WORKSHOPS

• Role study workshop (to familiarize the student with working with a conductor in the musical preparation of a role in which he/she will be credible. The content of the work includes the musical text, the context of the work, the musical style and linguistic correction).
• Career management workshop. This workshop consists of 5 sessions from October to March. The program of the sessions is mainly case study based. It covers the following topics: legal and social status of the professional musician, contracts, CV writing and professional promotion, specificities of the musical world, search for sponsorship.
• Baroque vocal music workshop with Jérôme Correas (Ensemble Les Paladins). This workshop consists of 6 sessions spread over the school year and is intended primarily for students enrolled in the Artist Diploma and in “Perfectionnement de chant” programs. The number of places is limited.

     Students from the school’s advanced singing classes may attend the workshop as listeners. A concert will be given as part of the “Midi et Demi Concerts.

Advanced Class

Cycle de perfectionnement

The advanced class is a professionalization cycle lasting from 1 to 3 years.

It is accessible to students who have completed the 3rd cycle of the institution (artist diploma) or, for new students, by audition and presentation of a CV.

Administrative fees for foreign students (from outside the European Union and the Council of Europe): 600€.
