Trained by Jacques Grimbert and with a Master’s degree in musicology from the Sorbonne, Delphine Haidan won an opera prize at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Paris and several prizes in international competitions. She then entered the lyric art school of the Op\u00e9ra national de Paris, and was engaged by the Opera in Peer Gynt under the direction of Neeme J\u00e4rvi and Stravinsky’s Les Noces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 1998, she was selected for the Victoires de la musique classique awards. That same year, she sang the role of Mallika in L\u00e9o Delibes’ opera Lakm\u00e9<\/em>, alongside Nathalie Dessay (Lakm\u00e9) and under the direction of Michel Plasson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delphine Haidan is an accomplished artist whose career is divided between opera and recital. She has taken part in numerous productions at the Op\u00e9ra de Paris, including Carmen <\/em>(Mercedes), Les Contes d’Hoffmann <\/em>(La Muse-Nicklausse), Don Giovanni <\/em>(Zerlina), L’Enfant et les Sortil\u00e8ges <\/em>(La Chatte – l’Ecureuil).<\/p>\n\n\n\n She also appeared at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, Op\u00e9ra Comique, Capitole de Toulouse, Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Bordeaux, Op\u00e9ra National du Rhin and Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Tours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, her career developed abroad: Glyndebourne Festival, Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Maestranza in Seville, Royal Albert Hall in London, Dresden, Tel-Aviv, Lisbon, Barcelona, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Rotterdam, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Moscow, Tokyo and Bogota, and recently Seattle and La Scala in Milan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recently, she sang the role of Anna (Les Troyens<\/em>) conducted by Francois-Xavier Roth with the Orchestre des Si\u00e8cles at the Festival Berlioz, and Filipievna (Eug\u00e8ne Oneguine<\/em>) at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs Elys\u00e9es, directed by St\u00e9phane Braunschweig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her latest recording “Deux Mezzos sinon rien” (Klarthe) with Karine Deshayes, awarded a CHOC Classica.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4629,"template":"","discipline":[111],"class_list":["post-4585","teacher","type-teacher","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","discipline-singing"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
