Naigeng Liu is a Chinese composer, pianist, and educator based in France, whose artistic work lies at the intersection of film music, video game music, and contemporary composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originally from Jinan in China\u2019s Shandong province, he graduated in piano from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music before continuing his studies at the \u00c9cole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot. There, he earned the Dipl\u00f4me Sup\u00e9rieur de Concertiste<\/em> (Higher Concertist Diploma) and the Dipl\u00f4me Sup\u00e9rieur de Composition de Musique de Film<\/em> (Higher Diploma in Film Music Composition), as well as advanced diplomas in chamber music, music theory, and piano pedagogy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An active composer in the fields of cinema, video games, and transmedia projects, he has developed a compositional style informed by the European symphonic tradition, narrative music, and contemporary techniques. His works explore diverse stylistic realms\u2014ranging from orchestral writing to electronic aesthetics\u2014while placing significant emphasis on the interplay between music, imagery, and interactive storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In recent years, he has frequently collaborated with various development studios and production companies in China, composing original scores for video games. He also serves as the principal composer for the Adam Symphony Orchestra, contributing to a range of creative, orchestration, and music production projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alongside his work as a composer, he maintains a career as a pianist, performing in both recitals and chamber music settings.
