{"id":13890,"date":"2026-10-07T09:38:50","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T07:38:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecolenormalecortot.com\/?p=13890"},"modified":"2026-10-07T09:38:51","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T07:38:51","slug":"alfred-cortot-interpretation-en-heritage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecolenormalecortot.com\/en\/2026\/10\/07\/alfred-cortot-interpretation-en-heritage\/","title":{"rendered":"Alfred Cortot : interpr\u00e9tation en h\u00e9ritage"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cours d\u2019interpr\u00e9tation \u00e0 partir des sources p\u00e9dagogiques d\u2019Alfred Cortot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Session inaugurale \u2014 ann\u00e9e 2026\u20132027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Le projet<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les cours d\u2019interpr\u00e9tation d\u2019Alfred Cortot constituent un patrimoine p\u00e9dagogique unique, au c\u0153ur de l\u2019histoire et de l\u2019identit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9cole Normale de Musique de Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet <strong>Alfred Cortot : L\u2019interpr\u00e9tation en h\u00e9ritage<\/strong> propose de renouer avec cette tradition en s\u2019appuyant sur la d\u00e9marche qui structurait l\u2019enseignement de Cortot : une interpr\u00e9tation nourrie par l\u2019analyse, la recherche, l\u2019\u00e9tude des sources et une r\u00e9flexion approfondie sur l\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les participants travailleront \u00e0 partir de documents li\u00e9s directement \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement et \u00e0 la pratique de Cortot : \u00e9ditions de travail, conf\u00e9rences et cours transcrits, \u00e9crits, enregistrements, t\u00e9moignages de ses \u00e9l\u00e8ves, ainsi que des documents in\u00e9dits provenant de ses partitions personnelles annot\u00e9es, pour la plupart conserv\u00e9s \u00e0 la Biblioth\u00e8que musicale La Grange-Fleuret \u00e0 Paris.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019objectif de cet atelier est de mettre ces sources \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve du piano : comprendre comment Cortot pensait une \u0153uvre, comment cette pens\u00e9e se traduisait dans des choix d\u2019interpr\u00e9tation, et ce qu\u2019elle peut encore apporter \u00e0 un pianiste aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La pr\u00e9paration instrumentale ne constitue donc qu\u2019une partie du travail. Les participants devront \u00e9galement s\u2019engager dans un travail de lecture, d\u2019analyse, de recherche et de r\u00e9flexion avant et pendant la session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Direction du projet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet est dirig\u00e9 par le pianiste et chercheur Zachary Deak, professeur de piano et de musicologie \u00e0 Old Dominion University (\u00c9tats-Unis), laur\u00e9at de la Bourse Cr\u00e9dit Agricole d\u2019\u00cele-de-France \u2013 M\u00e9c\u00e9nat \u00ab Recherche et pratique : le patrimoine pianistique fran\u00e7ais XIXe-XXe si\u00e8cle \u00bb, initi\u00e9e et administr\u00e9e par la Biblioth\u00e8que musicale La Grange-Fleuret, pour un projet consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 Alfred Cortot, \u00e0 ses archives p\u00e9dagogiques et \u00e0 la transmission du savoir interpr\u00e9tatif<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Format et calendrier<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La session r\u00e9unira <strong>six pianistes<\/strong> pour trois apr\u00e8s-midi de travail \u00e0 la Biblioth\u00e8que musicale La Grange-Fleuret sise 11 bis rue de V\u00e9zelay 75008 Paris (\u00e0&nbsp; 15mn \u00e0 pied de l\u2019ENMP !)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ouverture des candidatures :<\/strong> 5 octobre 2026<br><strong>Date limite de candidature :<\/strong> 2 novembre 2026<br><strong>Attribution des \u0153uvres :<\/strong> 9 novembre 2026<br><strong>Session de travail :<\/strong> 14, 15 et 16 d\u00e9cembre 2026 &#8211; sur le piano Steinway 1907 de la Biblioth\u00e8que musicale La Grange-Fleuret restaur\u00e9 en 2022-2023 par l\u2019Atelier Pianos Balleron (Paris) ; les \u00e9tudiants retenus pour l\u2019atelier auront la possibilit\u00e9 de venir travailler en amont sur le piano selon les disponibilit\u00e9s de la salle.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet donnera lieu \u00e0 une restitution publique \u00e0 la Salle Cortot le 9 mars 2027, pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e d\u2019une ou deux journ\u00e9es de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Public concern\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet est ouvert aux pianistes de l\u2019\u00c9cole Normale de Musique de Paris \u00e0 partir du 2e cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La s\u00e9lection prendra en compte le niveau instrumental et musical, mais \u00e9galement la curiosit\u00e9, la motivation, la capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9flexion et la volont\u00e9 de s\u2019investir pleinement dans la d\u00e9marche propos\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une bonne ma\u00eetrise du fran\u00e7ais est n\u00e9cessaire, une grande partie du travail reposant sur des sources fran\u00e7aises parfois r\u00e9dig\u00e9es dans une langue soutenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Travail demand\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque candidat proposera trois \u0153uvres, choisies dans la liste figurant sur le formulaire d\u2019inscription et indiqu\u00e9es dans l\u2019ordre de ses pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s attribution de l\u2019\u0153uvre, chaque participant recevra ou consultera un dossier de sources li\u00e9es \u00e0 celle-ci.
