{"id":13311,"date":"2026-07-15T12:24:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T10:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecolenormalecortot.com\/?p=13311"},"modified":"2026-07-15T12:30:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T10:30:57","slug":"academie-internationale-de-piano-liszt-2027","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecolenormalecortot.com\/en\/2026\/07\/15\/academie-internationale-de-piano-liszt-2027\/","title":{"rendered":"International Piano Academy \u2013 Liszt 2027"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Academy and Masterclasses \u2013 February 6\u20138, 2027<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u00c9cole Normale de Musique de Paris \u2013 Alfred Cortot, the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, the Liszt Institute in Paris, and the association&nbsp;<em>Sur les pas de Liszt<\/em>&nbsp;are launching the first edition of the&nbsp;<strong>International Piano Academy \u2013 Liszt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Designed for young pianists pursuing a professional career, this academy offers an exceptional opportunity to work with five internationally renowned pianists, brought together around the work and legacy of Franz Liszt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cyprien Katsaris, G\u00e1bor Farkas (Rector of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest), Pierre R\u00e9ach, Suzana Bartal, and Denis Pascal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During three days, selected participants will benefit from several working sessions with different professors, allowing them to explore their interpretations through complementary artistic and pedagogical approaches, rooted in the greatest European piano traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The masterclasses will take place in public at the prestigious&nbsp;<strong>Salle Cortot<\/strong>, offering participants a unique opportunity to perform in one of Paris\u2019s most iconic concert halls, located in the heart of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of the Academy, several pianists will be selected by the professors to participate in the closing concert on&nbsp;<strong>February 8, 2027<\/strong>, at Salle Cortot. Registration details, as well as a link to the association\u2019s website and the HelloAsso platform, will be communicated at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attendance in Paris is mandatory from&nbsp;<strong>February 6 to February 9 inclusive<\/strong>.
