Bojan Zulfikarpasic<\/strong>\u00a0is a Franco-Serbian pianist with an international career. Trained in Belgrade and later in the United States with Clare Fischer, he moved to France in 1988 and studied at the CIM (Centre d\u2019Informations Musicales). Winner of the\u00a0First Soloist Prize\u00a0at the La D\u00e9fense Jazz Competition in 1990, he soon joined Henri Texier, collaborated with Michel Portal, and developed a distinctive path blending\u00a0jazz, Balkan music, and improvisation. He has performed at major international festivals such as\u00a0Marciac, Montreal, and North Sea Jazz, and worked with renowned artists like\u00a0Scott Colley\u00a0and\u00a0Nasheet Waits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n St\u00e9phane Audard<\/strong>\u00a0is a guitarist, arranger, educator, and musicologist. He studied music at the Conservatory of Chamb\u00e9ry and has recorded with artists such as\u00a0Michel Legrand\u00a0and\u00a0Ludovic de Preissac. He writes arrangements for numerous\u00a0big bands and orchestras, and teaches at the\u00a0Paris CRR (Regional Conservatory). He also coordinates the\u00a0jazz department\u00a0at the Conservatory of the 11th arrondissement of Paris. In 2024, he earned a\u00a0PhD in musicology, with a dissertation on the\u00a0history of jazz education. Now a\u00a0qualified associate professor, he teaches at\u00a0Sorbonne University\u00a0and\u00a0Paris Cit\u00e9 University, and is a\u00a0research associate at IReMus (Institute for Research on Musicology).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Yaron Herman<\/strong>\u00a0is a Franco-Israeli pianist and composer, acclaimed for his innovative approach that blends\u00a0jazz, classical music, and contemporary sounds. From an early age, he developed a personal style marked by\u00a0virtuosity, freedom, and melodic sensitivity. He was awarded a\u00a0Victoire du Jazz\u00a0in 2008 and the\u00a0Adami Jazz Talent Prize. Yaron Herman has served as\u00a0president of the piano jury at the Montreux Jazz Festival\u00a0and was a\u00a0mentor at the Montreux Jazz Academy. He performs regularly on major stages across\u00a0Europe, the United States, and Asia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Joe Sanders<\/strong>, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an American\u00a0double bassist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Trained at the\u00a0-Brubeck Institute\u00a0and the Thelonious Monk Institute, he has established himself as one of the most in-demand bassists of his generation. He has collaborated with major figures in contemporary jazz such as Gerald Clayton,\u00a0Charles Lloyd, Joshua Redman,\u00a0Kendrick Scott, and\u00a0Ben Wendel.As a bandleader, he has released three albums:\u00a0Introducing Joe Sanders<\/em>\u00a0(2011),\u00a0Humanity<\/em>\u00a0(2017), and\u00a0Parallels<\/em>\u00a0(2024). Based in\u00a0southern France\u00a0since 2014, he continues to perform on international stages while developing his own artistic projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Claudia Solal<\/strong>\u00a0is a vocalist, singer-songwriter, and improviser with a distinctive and adventurous voice. For over 25 years, she has performed on major stages in France and internationally. At the crossroads of\u00a0composition and improvisation, she has developed a unique vocal language she describes as\u00a0\u201coffshore songs.\u201d Her numerous projects with artists such as\u00a0Benjamin Moussay,\u00a0Didier Petit, and\u00a0Beno\u00eet Delbecq have been acclaimed by the press (T\u00e9l\u00e9rama,\u00a0Choc Jazzmag,\u00a0Grand Prix of the Acad\u00e9mie Charles Cros). A committed educator, she also teaches voice at the\u00a0PSPBB (P\u00f4le Sup\u00e9rieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt).<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n David Linx<\/strong>, a leading figure in European vocal jazz, has recorded over\u00a025 albums\u00a0as a leader or co-leader, while collaborating with major artists such as\u00a0Toots Thielemans, Paolo Fresu,\u00a0Ivan Lins,\u00a0Maria Jo\u00e3o,\u00a0Natalie Dessay, and Michel Portal. His groundbreaking project\u00a0A Lover\u2019s Question<\/em>, based on texts by\u00a0James Baldwin, brought him international recognition. Since 1992, his long-standing duo with pianist\u00a0Diederik Wissels\u00a0has been widely acclaimed for its\u00a0innovative contribution to contemporary vocal jazz. A highly regarded educator, he has taught since 1995 at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and is a frequent guest in major European institutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Gauthier Garrigue<\/strong>\u00a0is a French drummer and guitarist. He graduated from the Conservatory of Perpignan\u00a0in 2002 and moved to Paris in 2007, where he has collaborated with numerous ensembles and musicians on the jazz scene, including\u00a0Yuval Amihai Ensemble,\u00a0Flash Pig,\u00a0David Enhco,\u00a0Paul Lay, and\u00a0Logan Richardson. Very active, he has performed with many leading figures of French and international jazz and toured worldwide (Europe, Asia, Africa, Canada) at prestigious festivals such as\u00a0Jazz in Marciac,\u00a0Jazz \u00e0 S\u00e8te, the\u00a0Victoria Jazz Festival, and the\u00a0Belgrade Jazz Festival. Since 2008, he has taught at the\u00a0Bill Evans Piano Academy\u00a0in Paris.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n \u00c9mile Parisien<\/strong>\u00a0is a French jazz saxophonist. He trained in Marciac and then at the Conservatory of Toulouse before moving to Paris in 2000, where he founded his own quartet in 2004 with\u00a0Julien Tou\u00e9ry,\u00a0Ivan G\u00e9lugne, and\u00a0Sylvain Darrifourcq. His playing, at the crossroads of jazz and contemporary music, has led him to collaborate with major figures such as\u00a0Michel Portal,\u00a0Vincent Peirani, and\u00a0Joachim K\u00fchn. Winner of numerous awards including the\u00a0Django Reinhardt Prize (2012)\u00a0and Victoires du Jazz (2014), he has established himself as a key figure in European jazz.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Jazz students have full access to the School\u2019s studios and rehearsal rooms and actively participate in the School\u2019s artistic life, including performances at the Salle Cortot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A Jazz Festival<\/strong> is planned for the 2025\u20132026 season to showcase emerging jazz talent and projects led by our students and faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to individual instrumental lessons, students may also benefit from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The school is open every day, Monday through Sunday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The annual cost of the program is \u20ac7,520<\/strong>, plus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n A scholarship program<\/strong> is available upon request and subject to review.
