International competitions

A place to practice for international competitions

The École Normale de Musique de Paris is an efficient setting for the preparation of international competitions as we pattern our own competitions in a similar format.

For example, the proceedings for competitions to obtain Diplômes Supérieurs include:
• Eliminatory phase
• External, international jury
• Public recital
• 1st Price with dotation (piano). More about the Cortot Price

The École Normale de Musique de Paris assures that students are kept aware of the main upcoming international competitions. Information regarding applications, deadlines and results are available on the School’s blog.

For some international competitions, the School reserves the possibility to help certain students with their application.
